Conversation starters, This is a carry on from my last blog post about dealing with objections... Truth be known, I probably should have written this one first as we are never going to deal with to many objections if we first cannot get into a conversation with someone.
And getting into conversation with people is what we will need to do at some point in time if we are wanting to build a network marketing business because conversing is what gives us the chance to start building a relationship with a person. By establishing a friendship, you’ll find that people will be more inclined to look at what you have to offer them...
As I wrote in my last post, we often have trouble talking to new people simply because we don't know what to say, and for me that saying could not be more true. So I have decided to write this post about how we can start conversations and share a phrase you can use to jog your memory to quickly ask a question that will get the ball rolling.
It is said that everyone loves to talk about themselves and in doing so will share with you a lot of the information you are looking for in potential partners. Ultimately you are looking to find out about their dreams or an area of dissatisfaction in their life that you may be able to help them with and this is why it is so important that we brush up on our conversation skills.
F.O.R.M is an acronym for Family, Occupation, Recreation, Money. If you can remember this short word and what it stands for then you will be on track to assisting yourself to ask questions and become involved in conversation. Also you will be encouraging the other person to share information.
One of the best
things you can
do is to show
interest and encourage the other person to talk, because that means we
are building a relationship and you can then start selecting
questions from what they are telling you. This will keep
the discussion rolling.
Getting back to F.O.R.M, some of the questions we can ask are.
Family- Have you lived here long? Is you family from here? Are you married and do you have kids? How many siblings do you have and
what do they do?
Occupation- What do you do for a living? Does that keep you very busy? Do you like what you do? What is the best part of your job? Can you see yourself working there for a long time?
Recreation- What do you do on your days off? What do you do to unwind? Where are you going on your next holiday? How do you spend your Saturday nights?
Money- What would you be doing if money was not an issue? What things are you saving up for? What do you like to spend your hard
earned on? Are you a spender or a saver?
People become more interested in you when the see that you are interested in them.
Do you have a great story to about this and would like to share it!? Join our community and write your own page. We would love to get fresh idea's from different perspectives, plus you will be credited for your work.

You have most likely heard the term customer loyalty before and you may have even been rewarded before for sticking with a particular brand. If not, it might be worth your while to shop around

Why should you never settle for less than what you want from life? Because if we settle for less we are only selling ourselves short.
